Natural ways to enhance fertility in men
Infertility in men is as old as it is in women. However, in the past few decades, the society did not envisage that men could be infertile. Luckily, there are natural ways that men can use to help deal with infertility. They include:
Eating Foods That Contain DNA Antioxidants
It is important that you eat foods that will protect your DNA, which is responsible for creating children. One should avoid certain chemicals and nutrition which is known to damage DNA. Things like alcohol, pesticides, cigarette smoking should be avoided because they damage DNA.
Eat Nutrient-Rich Diet
Nutrient-dense diet can prevent damage to your sperm and will promote good sperm health. Foods loaded with nutrients such as zinc, vitamin C, selenium are recommended because they have been demonstrated to increase sperm health. A lot of men are suffering from low sperm count because they don’t have time to eat nutritious foods courtesy of their tight schedules. It is, therefore, necessary that you eat healthy to support your libido. Eating a diet that is full of fats and low in nutrients could lead to low libido issues and may make it difficult for couples to conceive. Foods rich in folic acid (vitamin B) are known to improve the health of the sperm. Men with low levels of foliate risk having sperms with too many chromosomes. This is what results in defects such as downs syndrome and could lead to increased miscarriage. Foods that are rich in folic acids include lentil beans, pinto beans, asparagus, navy beans, spinach, collard greens, and kidney beans. Other nutrients that men should eat to improve their sperms include foods rich in B12 such as dairy products, foods rich in vitamin C, foods rich in amino acids, and foods rich in CoQ10.
